Seven WondersMarathons™
The Great Pyramid of Giza
Where you sleep

Thirteen nights in beds. None in a seat.

Four- and five-star hotels, single occupancy, chosen for one thing above all: how close they are to the next start line. Thirteen nights, ten cities, and never an early-morning transfer longer than forty minutes.

Night1

Rome

Central, five-star, walking distance to dinner, a straightforward run out to the Appia start.

Rome
Nights2–3

Cairo

On the Giza side, at the foot of the plateau. You walk from the finish line to your own shower — this is what makes the pyramid afternoon work.

Cairo
Nights4–5

Petra

At the gate of the site, two nights in the same bed. The first place on the route where you unpack.

Petra
Night6

Agra

Within walking distance of the Taj east gate — what makes the afternoon visit possible.

Agra
Night7

Delhi

Airport hotel, arrived at in the evening and left in the morning.

Night8

Mutianyu, Beijing

A resort in the hills below the Wall, so nobody drives at dawn on the hardest morning.

Mutianyu, Beijing
Night9

Anchorage

Downtown, with a free afternoon. Blackout curtains matter here.

Night10

Valladolid

A colonial hacienda thirty minutes from Chichén Itzá.

Valladolid
Night11

Cancún

One night by the airport before the flight south.

Nights12–13

Rio de Janeiro

Copacabana or Flamengo, on the finish-line side of the bay.

Rio de Janeiro

The runner price is single occupancy. A runner and companion travelling together share a room; the companion price already assumes this. Two runners travelling together can ask about twin-share.

Sixty people will see the seven wonders this way.

Places are allocated in order of deposit. Finishers of any Runbuk event may reserve before general registration opens.
