The last one, and the only one with no clock
Thirty metres of open arms on top of a seven-hundred-metre mountain, finished in 1931 and now the image of an entire country. It is the youngest of the seven wonders and the only one built to welcome people rather than to impress or defend.

Flat · Seafront
The seafront at Flamengo and Botafogo, flat and fast, Sugarloaf ahead of you and the statue on the ridge above for the whole distance. There is no course closure on this one. Take as long as you like — the aircraft is not going anywhere and neither is anybody else.

Day 13
Up the mountain to the statue, then Sugarloaf by cable car, and the finish celebration that evening.

Sixty people will see the seven wonders this way.
Places are allocated in order of deposit. Finishers of any Runbuk event may reserve before general registration opens.
